Our Green Policy
We aim to control energy consumption in order to:
- Avoid unnecessary expenditure
- Protect the environment
- Prolong the useful life of fossil fuels
Objectives
Our long term objectives are to:
- Buy Fossil fuels at the most economic cost
- Burn and use fossil fuels as efficiently and practically as possible
- Research alternative energy sources and long term solutions
- Reduce the amount of pollution, particularly CO2 emissions caused by energy consumption
- Reduce our dependence on fossil fuels through the use of ambient and renewable energy
- Reduce the loss of energy from our buildings to the minimum practical level
